Goal
The hardware safety requirements are derived from the technical safety concept and the system design specification. It should also be verified that these requirements are consistent with the technical safety concept and the system design specification. Also the hardware software interface specification is going to be further detailed during this stage.
The technical safety requirements cover both hardware and software related requirements. Those requirements which cover both disciplines are further partitioned to only cover hardware safety requirements. The hardware safety requirements are further detailed, considering design constraints and the impact of these design constraints on the hardware.
